Girl Scout Days
Registration for Girl Scout Days is open!
On March 10 and 11 we will celebrate scouting in science-style with two full days of programs and discounts just for Scouts! Scout Days are open to scouts from any council and/or district. All are welcome. Call 314-289-4424 or 1-800-456-SLSC, x4424 to register.
- $8 per scout for all workshops($7 for SLSC members)
- Check-in on lower level at least 15 minutes prior to the start of your program
- Parking is $10 at the main lot. Pick up your $5 parking coupon at check-in
- Scouts in uniform are eligible for discounts at Star Trek the Exhibition, the Omnimax, the James S. McDonnell Planetarium and the Discovery Room.
- Registration closes on Thursday March 10.
Over the course of the weekend we will do hands-on workshops for Brownies, Juniors and Cadettes. Participate in any workshop and receive a souvenir patch set. Activity patches are not available at the Science Center. All scouts will receive a souvenir participation patch and a 2012 rocker segment. Scouts who have already received the souvenir patch from a previous Scout Days will get the 2012 rocker segment.
Free chaperones must attend the workshops at a ratio of one for every five children, but do not need to register. Additional chaperones may be asked to leave the classroom if space is at a premium.
Scouts in uniform can receive additional discounts at Star Trek the Exhibition, the Omnimax, the Jams S. Mcdonnell Planetarium and the Discovery Room.
Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts are welcome too! Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts who wear their scouting uniform are also eligible for special discounts during this scout weekend!
